Gina Marie Kane

Gina Marie Kane is a native to Port St. Lucie, Florida. Her passion started at the age of three when she began her training in ballet, jazz, tap. In middle and high school she acquired her technique in lyrical, contemporary, modern, pointe and hip hop. She studied on the Treasure Coast at local studios growing her passion and knowledge in many different ways. 

Mrs. Kane followed her dream and belonged to a professional dance company known as Preston Contemporary Dance Theatre. The company has travelled on tour and also performs for the community donating to charity. PCDT'S mission is to "Connect Passion to Purpose." 

Prior to that she was a former member of the traveling competitive team, Miss-ettes, which performed in competitions, festivals and parades.

Performing is not her only link to the dance world. She was a dance educator instructing pre-school ballet and directed her own local dance team as well as choreographed for the Christmas Pageant at Morningside Academy Church. She has also choreographed for the Realtor Association of Palm Beach for their President Installation Gala. Previously she taught modern, tap, and hip hop at the Genesis School of Dance. She was also part of a panel that judged the dance category for Murray Middle School. 

Gina has achieved an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and Baccalaureate Degree at Indian River State College in Human Services. 

Currently, she is the proud owner of St. Lucie Dance Theatre. She teaches remotely in a couple of local schools and preschool. She teaches pre ballet/tap, beginner ballet/tap, all level modern, mini/junior/senior/elite traveling competition team and the adult professional dance company at her studio. Gina has choreographed a multitude of sold out shows at the Sunrise Theatre as well as created and performed with her adult professional dance company at the Causeway Cove Marina, PGA Verano, private parties and Sunrise Sands Beach Resort.  She hopes to inspire everyone through dance because it is an art that imprints on the soul.
